Iron Mine

When I first saw Digging Deep, I knew I wanted to make an Iron Man deck with it, since Futurist and Repulsor Blast can trigger it. This isn't going to be the most world-beating Digging Deep deck out there, but Iron Man remains one of my top 3 favorite heroes.

This is also inspired by the LOTR LCG dwarf mining archetype, hence the name, which also fits in with the idea of "iron" man haha.

You still need to do your usual Iron Man setup routine. I like to play Iron Man flipping a lot, because I've always loved using Futurist. So here, you can get extra value from it thanks to Digging Deep. Also, there's White Fox, who can enter play from being discarded. You've also got three copies of Plasma Pistol, which is normally a card I never play, to help you get setup with Tech upgrades.

In hero form, you're focused on all those Energy resources. The three Plasma Pistols are in because they help set up, and they're energy resources for when you're just Repulsor Blasting. But, there are other things to do as well, like get Captain Marvel into play to discard more cards, and since you have a lot of energy resources, she's likely to hit some damage, and hopefully grab more Digging Deep.

Others have already pointed out the great Call for Aid combo with Digging Deep, especially if you don't have any Avengers in your deck, but I want to get to Captain Marvel, but also Kaluu can help grab your Repulsor Blasts. The other allies are just energy resources, but you can play the off-traited ones like Gamora and #SP//dr with Make the Call. Gamora will also help discard cards to get DD, and your Repulsor Blasts. Throw in the energy resources of Command Team to keep the actions rolling.
